Gotcha Day - Take 1

Holy cow! What an adventure the last few days have been. I will go into detail at a later time, but for now, Carson is home and enjoying the company of his new family. Everything went smoothly in regards to Gotcha Day, but there was simply a lot to do. Beka got to meet Carson as soon as he got off the plane and before he went through customs. The video clip is of her and Carson exiting customs and introducing themselves to me at the San Francisco airport. The picture is of him in my arms shortly after meeting him. He has been rather laid back all day and simply seems to enjoy life. We had more video taken in San Diego when we flew home. I will edit the video and put together a picture package soon. That's a wrap!

Wow! How exciteing. It was great to "catch up" with you all last night. Carson is just adorable. You all have been in my prayers as I was anticipating you bringing him home. I hope all continues to go well. We could not be happier for you all. Congratulations!

I had lunch with Deena Royalty today, and she gave me your blog address. Haven't talked to Jen in a while--obviously, since I just learned about Carson. I'm so happy for you. Watching your video clip, I can't imagine the experience being any less exciting than when you brought home the first two. We're expecting again, so of course, I cried looking at all the pictures. We would love to adopt someday if the Lord allows us to do that, and seeing Carson makes me feel that I wouldn't even mind if we got another boy. Enjoy every minute--he's precious!
